Rare Pair Of Important Mounted Perfume Bottles.

Description:
chiseled, gilded bronze, cut crystal.
The ovoid-shaped bottle is recut, it is decorated with a frieze on the shoulder and the glass stopper is decorated with bronze. It stands on an Athenian support, each trapezophore foot has a lion's head and a coiled snake.
We are in a particularly rare type of object and representative of the beautiful pieces of 19th century decorative art. Perfume was usually in scent cellars but not in such an ornamental arrangement.
The crystal is probably Creusot or Baccarat.

Condition:
exceptional condition for this type of object. The crystal is intact, there is only wear of the gilding at the grip points and on a stopper.

32 (height) x 21 (height of a bottle) x 15 (diameter of the base) cm.
