This Viennese clock, dating back to the end of the eighteenth century, represents a classic example of the Viennese style of the time.
The case is made of fruitwood, with pierced details. Above the dial, there are the adjustments for the chime, as well as the opening for the false pendulum.
The movement features a richly engraved plate with plant motifs. It has an hour and quarter chime, and a verge escapement.
