*The Lunéville – Saint-Clément earthenware factories were founded by Jacques Chambrette in the 18th century.
They were very successful thanks to the presence of the ducal court and the production of fine earthenware whose shapes were inspired by goldsmithing.
Famous artists are linked to the history of these two factories: Paul-Louis Cyfflé who shaped charming statuettes and who established his own earthenware factory in Lunéville, or Maurice de Ravinel who ran one of the first Art Nouveau workshops, frequented by personalities such as Ernest Bussière; Louis Majorelle or even Edmond Lachenal.
