Michael Harris, Vintage Mdina Vase “sea And Sand” Series Blue Shaded Green, And Metallic Leaf

Very beautiful vintage vase in blue-green optical glass nuanced with turquoise by the famous glass artist Michael Harris in Malta (circa 1970).
Signed on the reverse mdina and other inscription that I have not identified; This model is nevertheless a good reference in the work of Michael Harris, "Sea and Sand" series.
Round and slightly flattened in shape like a gourd, it is topped with a wide collar hemmed with a generous lip attached to the body. in a chokehold. Two appendages in hot-glued natural glass take the shape of horns and hug the body of the object, the larger sections form the base then taper to blend into the base of the neck. The body is decorated with intersecting metal leaves, gold or bronze, hot melted on the surface of the glass to create an illusion of a sandy beach and sea.
