Early work of Pierre Sédille, a multi-talented artist who was notably a renowned architect, but he also had a brilliant career as a designer whose specialty was precisely architecture. Here we can easily imagine that this is an order because on the passe-partout it is mentioned: "La Madeleine Former property of C. Délavage in Présagny near Vernon". The drawing represents a view of the Seine animated by fishermen, in the foreground a bouquet of trees to reveal the Mansion in question in the distance.
