Eugene Cahen, "the Path" Circa 1910 - Post-impressionism

A path under the sun, lined with shrubs leaning against a broken wall, these are the signs and charm of a southern landscape under the hand of the painter Eugène Cahen.
Work from the beginning of the 20th century, the painter uses touches of material, with shimmering colors, in the style of the neo-impressionists.

Bénézit indicates that Eugène Cahen is a landscape painter borned in Constantine in Algeria and his life took place between the 19th and 20th centuries.
A beautiful painting which is part of a set of three works (see photo), one of which is signed.
