"Empire Column Clock"
Elegant empire clock, in white marble and gilded bronze. Terrace topped with two flat columns, a frontispiece and the whole garnished with chiseled gilded bronzes. Wire movement connected to a balance wheel in the shape of a radiating solar disk with central decoration of an eagle and laurel. Enamelled dial bearing the inscription White FILAD, Palais Royal. Slight traces of wear corresponding to age wrinkles.
