This marquetry with perfect symmetry is made up of walnut, plum and ash wood creating frames of nets and reserves with elongated or quadrilobed shapes.
It opens with four drawers in three rows and is decorated with an imposing and rich decoration of finely chiseled and gilded bronzes: sabots, scraps, keyholes, apron and on the pull handles an astonishing carving decorated with vine leaves and grapes.
It is topped with “royal red” marble matching the pronounced curve of the facade.
To perfect its charm and elegance,
we will notice its small and rare proportions (H. 78 cm x L.114 cm x D. 62 cm)
