“nest” Cocktail Ring From The 1940s

An 18k yellow gold ring centered with a large and beautiful round gold topaz weighing about 12 cts.
Circa 1940.
French work, master mark possibly HGH, Habrard & Fils, jewelers in Valence (France).

Stone dimensions: 14.13 – 13.91 x 9.27 mm approx.
Size : 54 (changeable).
Weight : 6.4 g (18k gold – 750/1000 - eagle head mark).

Condition
Ring very beautiful and original. Very nice work even in small details, since even the claws are chiseled. The stone sits perfectly on the gold ribbon, giving the impression of resting on a cushion. Small scratches on the ring, the part in the inside of the hand.
Topaz has a beautiful golden-honey colour that blends perfectly with the colour of gold. Small scratches on the table, but nothing very noticeable. It is very clean.
This ring is our favorite. It is of great jewelry quality: both by design and the choice of stone.
