Daniel Viene (1955-2013) "The First Flight of Jean Charles" Mixed Technique Daniel Viéné is a self-taught creator. It belongs to the artistic movement of singular art. He himself affirmed that his art wanted to be free and singular: “I play painter like a child plays firefighter, with pleasure and with seriousness”. His very colorful works represent characters and portraits. They evoke the world of childhood, happiness and call for good humor. He works with different types of supports such as cotton canvas, cardboard, paper, wood, glass or fabric. He exhibits in many European cities such as Brussels, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Luxembourg, Montreux, Lausanne, Berlin, Gothenburg and Paris. In 2007, a book was published on his work, L'Art au singular. This is the first book in the L’art au singular collection from Coprur editions.
