Painted Canvas Screen Louis XV XVIIIth Period
Four-leaf screen in painted canvas, Louis XV, 18th century period. The screen represents a tree-lined scene in a park embellished with fountains and sculptures. We see five women washing sheets and a man observing the scene leaning on his cane. On the back, flowers are painted on an ivory background in ocher-colored frames. Original pine canvas and frame (slight tears are reported). Italian work from the mid-18th century
