Folding shelf fireplace screen. The screen part can slide to different heights. The side which receives the mobile tablet is lined with mohair velvet decorated with polychrome embroidery, a multicolored bird looks lower towards another bird resting in raspberry branches joined towards their base by a blue ribbon; the other side is plain gray. Elegant base and fine molding of the uprights.Good workmanship from the 19th century in beautiful mahogany, sockets and shelf support in brass.
Good condition, very discreet traces of use around the edges of the velvet.
