Short priestly cape worn over the cassock or choir habit (the rochet) by Catholic ecclesiastical dignitaries.Here, it is a canon's hackle: black fabrics with purple edging and rabbit fur (or ermine?)
Old from Brittany (Breton, Rennes chasublier label).
Mid-20th century.
Height: approximately 45 cm (bottom edge stops at mid-chest). All buttons are present.
