"Kovsh Russian Silver Calabash Goblet 1900"
Here is a Russian kovsh probably made of silver. This classic object of Russian goldsmithing is in fact a small drinking vessel. Equipped with a handle on the side, it evokes the general appearance of a ladle and reproduces in gold or silver the traditional shape of wooden cups. Most often the end opposite the handle is finished with a carved button or a two-headed eagle. The most valuable are gold or silver plated. We report that this kovsh is dented in several places. Our numerous photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the object. For the condition, please detail the photos. Feel free to zoom in. The photos are an integral part of the description.
