"Korean Maebyeong Vase Joseon 19/20th Century"
Maebyeong shape, inspired by Chinese Meiping shapes, this cetadon vase has a short neck with a beautiful rounded shoulder surrounded by lotus leaves as well as around the edge of the base. The decoration of cranes in flight among stylized clouds on a cracked base is particularly delicate. The color of Korean Celadon, recognized as the most delicate and transparent, has greatly inspired China. Signed under the base. Height: 32.5cm.
