"Oil On Canvas Framed "the Return Of The Washerwoman" Impressionist Follower Of Monticelli 19th"
This charming painting from the second half of the 19th century painted on canvas, keyed frame, period frame in stuccoed wood, molded with a golden patina. Is a delightful painting very mastered in terms of material, colors and composition representing a washerwoman returning to a wooded path coming out of a clearing where olive trees grow. It is a completely inspired Provençal Work and the quality of a Monticelli, one of the Fathers of the Impressionist in the 19th century (could it be him?) I cannot affirm it, but of an Artist who borrowed its codes in every way. This pretty washerwoman on a path enters an undergrowth with a stick on her left shoulder, white linen placed on it, her amber face in profile and her abundant black hair, she is in corsages and wears an apron over her blue skirt. It is a decorative Midi School and which emanates great with its realism full of life and its beautiful appearance, an intimate work in good condition.. Very decorative because born with its beautiful original frame
