Original engraving on steel with a chisel. Engraved by TASSIN (Christophe), known by mistake as Nicolas Tassin. He is in reality the King's geographical engineer. We do not know his dates of birth and death, but he practiced around the 1630s/1640s. Among other things, he produced collections of small maps and plans of France. Hand watercolored. Baguette: 1.6 cm Condition: PERFECT CONDITION, Period: 1st HALF 17th century (Circa 1640), Framing: CURRENT - Bevel in aged gold - Marie-Louise in wild silk Ecru - Patinated old gold fillet - Wooden baguette, in gilding aged water.
