Small Chiffonniere Chest Of Drawers In Walnut, Louis XV Style – Late 19th Century

This solid walnut piece of furniture has three identical drawers on the front. Its crossbow-shaped front is inlaid with a composition of light wood and amaranth surrounding each drawer. Each is decorated with a lens button allowing the draw. The perimeter of each drawer is molded and projects from the frame. The sides and bottoms of the drawers are in chestnut. The front crosspiece is cut. The uprights of this piece of furniture are slightly rounded towards the top then bumpy and curved becoming more refined towards the bottom.
