set of 6 Paris porcelain plates 3 and 3 on the first 3 branded on the reverse GH rue Thiroux in Paris the others without brand Paris porcelain very late 18th century and early 19th century factory rue Thiroux known as de la Reine taken over in 1794 by Guy and Housel until 1798 date of Guy's death the brand changes and only the name Housel appears until 1804 date the end of the manufacture and its sale at public auction we can therefore date the first 3 plates between 1794 and 1798 the other three are probably from the same period similar decoration for the 6 bouquets painted at the bottom of each plate marli richly decorated with barbel with pansies in medallion and gold frieze 3 very slightly scalloped the 3 others with smooth edges slightly different flowers 21.5 and 22cm in diameter in good condition some old restorations on the edges partial wear of the decor and the gilding a star plate on the reverse condition visible in the photos which are part of the description beautiful and rare together in a quality decor all questions welcome sending neat
