Henri Étienne DUMAIGE (1830-1888) Before the voluntary combat of 1792 Magnificent Bronze with brown patina. Signed on the side of the base. Height: 65 cm Base 20x20cm Henri Etienne Dumaige (1830-1888) - born in Paris in 1830, studied sculpture with Féuchère and Dumont. He exhibited his sculptures at the Paris Salon between 1862 and 1877, and produced a large number of works in the spirit of academicism in marble, bronze and plaster, with many works referring to mythology or historical persons. He died in St-Gilles-Croix-de-Vié in 1888.
