"Important Pair Of Reconstituted Stone Lions"
Important pair of lions with their paws resting on a sphere, known as the Medici lion, in 17th century style, in reconstituted stone dating from the mid-20th century, beautifully crafted and in perfect condition. They can be compared to the lion carved by Henri Legrand around 1673, currently in the Condé museum at the Château de Chantilly, our last photo. The dimensions of the bases are 102 cm x 40 cm.
