Oil On Wooden Panel By Chevalier 1878 Barbizon Scene Wooden Frame

Here is an oil on wooden panel by Chevalier, it is a Barbizonian scene created on a wooden panel. You will notice a nice work in the sky, in the vegetation, a beautiful rendering. Everything is from 1878, therefore Napoleon III period. I think it is Henri Chevalier (1808-1893). The frame is made of natural wood, it goes perfectly with the work. It is in acceptable condition, note small traces of wear and friction, a blackened corner. The work has not been cleaned or restored. We report some traces of wear and friction, scratches.
