High Serving In Golden Wood, Louis XVI Style – 1920

Beautiful circular harness in gilded wood topped with Brèche Violette marble from Italy. The edge of the top is molded and gradient, decorated with pearl. The cord-shaped belt rests on four turned feet. These are decorated at the top with diagonal striations, followed by fixed grooves and finally by four legs curved outwards, recessed and patterned, forming goat's feet. In the lower part, connecting the four legs, a caned and molded spacer plate has concave sides. ******* Period: 1920 Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop Finish: Slightly aged gilding.
