Biography :
GUIRAMAND Paul was born on February 1, 1926 in Saint-Quentin in Aisne, and died on December 8, 2007. He is a painter and engraver of French origin. He is one of the young painters of the New School of Paris. GUIRAMAND is enrolled at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris in the studio of Jean Dupas. In 1952, he won the first Prix de Rome. He decided to live in Rome from 1953 to 1956. On his return, he presented his works throughout the world. In 1953, GUIRAMAND decided to learn engraving and lithography. Indeed, being very fond of new things, he is interested in all art techniques. He was a member of the Society of French Painters-Engravers.
