"Important Cartel In Boulle Marquetry Louis XIV Style From The Napoleon III Period"
Important Regency style cartel in Boulle marquetry with an eventful shaped case, resting on a terrace with four foliaged top legs with marquetry motif in its center. The band marquetry represents hunting senes. The base is made up of four bronze horses on which the case rests. The body of the case is decorated with bronzes such as acanthus leaves, foliage garlands... On the door there is a chariot of Apollo with two horses under the dial. Four women in española rest on the four sides. The top of the case adorns a seated Athena, helmeted and armed with a spear and a shield.
