Prom card in brown tortoiseshell and gold. Cover of the notebook decorated with chiseled gold spandrels decorated with ivy leaves and a setting of turquoise and diamonds. In the center of the notebook, an anagram of fine stones can be deciphered: Sapphire, Opal, Uvite Rhodolite, Red Vesuvianite, Emerald, Natrolite, Idrocase, Ruby; The anagram forms the word “souvenir”. This fashion jewelry or acrostic objects was created by the Nitot founders of Maison Chaumet. This fashion will continue during the Restoration.
