Son of small craftsmen, born in Malestroit (Morbihan) in 1881, François Gueho was of a very lonely and passionate nature.
Young man, he was divided between his faith and the love of a woman in Paris in 1900. The religious vocation was born at home at the start of adolescence. He then entered the Pietà seminar, in Paris: brilliant studies, he distinguished himself by his intelligence, his appetite for knowledge and his intense faith. Having finally given up the priesthood, he followed a career without brilliance. Brilliant painter and talented writer, he sold some paintings during his lifetime, but to feed his large family, he had to accept a small post of scratch in a company, employment which led him from Concarneau to Nantes, then in Bordeaux where he died in 1951, overturned by a car crossing the street.
