In 1900, he was awarded the bronze medal at the Universal Exhibition in Paris. In 1911,
he was awarded the Rosa Bonheur prize.
In 1927, he was awarded the James Bertrand Prize.
Numerous paintings by this artist can be found in various museums in France.
The antique painting bears an original carved lacquered wooden frame.
