Galiani”, for Eugène Galien-Laloue (1854-1941) Dimensions of the work: Height 33 cm x Width 41 cm Dimensions of the frame: Height 41 cm x Width 51 cm Born in the Montmartre district of Paris on December 11, 1854, Eugène Galien-Laloue was the student of Léon Germain Pelouse (1838-1891), painter of the Barbizon school. Galien-Laloue is famous for his views of Paris evoking exactly the atmosphere of Paris in 1900. He also painted numerous landscapes, notably of Normandy and Seine-et-Marne, under his name or under the pseudonym Léon Dupuy, Eugène Galiany or Jacques Liévin.
