Mid-20th century Directoire style flat desk. Mahogany and mahogany veneer on oak frame. Tray covered in iron-gilded green leather, and surrounded by a brass ingot mold. Three belt drawers, with working keys and locks. Two side zippers: 58 x 37 cm. Brass rimmed drawers and panels. Brass plates at the corners and square spindle legs inlaid with brass threads ending in bronze shoes. Height under drawer: 60 cm.
