René Goro worked as an art glassmaker and publisher of glass works in the 1930s in Paris, at 127 rue de Turenne. He surrounded himself with talented artists including the master glassmakers and sculptors Roger Cogneville, Henri Dieupart, Paul Dardé, Georges Chevalier...

Roger Cognéville (1903-1965) was a sculptor trained at the Boulle school in Paris. He worked in the Paris region.
