"Ciborium Of The Sick In Silver, France Circa 1825"
Silver ciborium of the sick with a wide flat base decorated with a chiseled flowered cross. Stem is frustoconical, forming a bulb assembled in two interlocking parts serving as a reserve for Saint Chrism. Cup is of flattened circular shape, silver gilded inside. The slightly domed lid is topped with a cross surrounded by a corolla of leaves.
