"Louis Dali, House Of Mimi Pinson Montmartre "
Painting, oil on canvas, representing the snow-covered house of Mimi Pinson in old Montmartre, signed lower right, L.Dali 47. Mimi Pinson is a storybook character created by Alfred de Musset (1810-1857). The house was located at 18 rue du Mont Cenis in Montmartre. It was painted numerous times by Maurice Utrillo (1883-1955). It was destroyed in 1925 and has since been immortalized by numerous artists. Louis Dali, was born in Brittany in 1905 and died in 2001. He came to Paris very young, in 1919 and attended artistic academies. He was a member of the Salon de l'École française and the Salon des Artistes Indépendants from 1949. He lived in Montmartre and very quickly specialized in painting the Parisian landscapes of the Butte Montmartre. Original frame Dimensions: With frame 67 x 58 cm Without frame 55 x 46 cm
