"Gold Bracelet, Enamel And Fine Stones, Mid-19th Century"
Flexible and articulated bracelet in gold and enamel set with fine colored stones. It is decorated with eleven oval and enameled medallions, each representing a woman in Swiss cantonal costume. On the back of these medallions, the canton is noted: Zurich, Berne, Lucerne, Uri, Schvitz, Unterv, Zug, Glaris, Fribourg, Sollure, Basle. Each medallion is framed with a canetille decoration adorned with fine colored stones and enamel pearls. The medallions end with palmettes.
Restoration period, circa 1830-1840.
Kept in its red leather case
