"“miniature” Box In Tortoiseshell, Early 19th Century"
Round tortoiseshell box decorated with a miniature representing a portrait of a lady, from the early 19th century. The miniature is decorated with a golden brass circle which elegantly frames the portrait. A small chip on the edge of the box, as well as another on the reverse. Some scratches. Around 1800. As is Dimensions: Height: 2.5 cm Diameter: 7.5 cm
