Object description :

"Bronze Candlestick From The 17th Century"
Large size and beautiful ornamentation for this 17th century bronze candle holder with brown patina.
The brooch rests on a flared bobèche with a wide rim.
The disc and baluster shaft is decorated with acanthus leaves and gadroons.
The base forms a triangular base decorated with cherubs in the round and resting on a tripod base of which it is worth noting the rarity of the claw shape gripping balls.
