Tencel, also called lyocell, is an ecological material produced from wood pulp. Tencel is very popular in textiles, because it is a breathable and resistant fabric, completely comparable to silk.

Its foliage and flowers mingle in complex symmetrical compositions with brilliant colors. At the edges of the main field we can observe the dazzling Camellia, a romantic flower native to Eastern Asia which symbolizes strength.

Condition : slightly yellowed white kilim, wear to the silk on the green border.
Throughout the carpet, you will notice color differences due to the tencel silk which makes it appear like white spots to be taken into account. It remains in good general condition.
The carpet was taken in natural light outdoors, in an interior, the contrast of colors will be much less visible.

The rug has been professionally washed.
