"Huge Carafe Stopper"
Huge decanter stopper, in crystal, covered with a strong leaf of solid silver engraved with a Louis XIV style motif. it bears the hallmark of the neck brace, French work. The carafe must be in proportion to support such a hat (a height of 35 cm centimeters seems to be required, a diameter of 30, or a width of 40 cm, if it is of square section). It should be heavy and thick. The inside of the neck should be 3.2 cm in diameter at the edge and reduce slightly to 2.7 cm plus (2.6 cm in the neck. Excellent condition.
