Ancient alabaster sculpture depicting an oriental dancer belonging to the second half of the 19th century.

The dancer is portrayed in a plastic pose with her body unbalanced to the left and her hands towards her face.

Her body is depicted half naked with her breasts exposed and the underlying part dressed in a traditional dress.

To further embellish the sculpture is the beautiful necklace that she wears around her neck in addition to the sculptural details.

Provenance: 19th century France.
