Burma, kingdom of Mandalay, second half of the 19th century, superb bronze statue of Buddha with brown patina. He is represented seated in the lotus position on an elegant openwork base. The gestures of his right hand indicate the absence of fear (Abhaya-Mudra) while the left holds an offering pot. Sculpture and cast iron of very good quality.
Height 32.8 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone.
Good condition except for slight normal wear and tear.
