Mother-of-pearl Shell, Jerusalem, Carved & Openworked, Religious Scene, Nativity, 19th Century

Here is a very pretty mother-of-pearl shell, finely sculpted. It represents, in high relief, the Nativity, and the presentation of the child to the three wise kings. The lower border is decorated with foliage scrolls, engraved and openworked, and the upper part presents a stylized leaf. Antique working, Jerusalem, dating from the second part of the 19th century.
Excellent condition, no breakage or defect, even few wear.
Dimensions: 11cm x 8cm.
