Regency period chest of drawers stamped Lapie. The curve of the facade and sides is based on the knowledge of the master cabinetmaker. the ringing of the belt brings the apron to life. the fern motif is in rosewood, framed by a boxwood net, enhanced with rosewood. the entire perimeter of the drawers is enhanced by a quarter round veneered in cross-grain (also in rosewood). it consists of 5 oak interior drawers. the original bronzes are decorated with: canthus leaves, foliage, palm leaves, pig's tails, rooster cress, plant motifs, cartridges, pearls. the curved marble fits the frame with its bec de corbin molding.
