BALITRAN (Jean-Jacques) painter born in Agen in 1930, died in Céret on January 28, 2024. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Bordeaux, Tours and Orléans. A lover of the Loire, he lived for a few years on its banks in Touraine. He knew how to capture its beauty and its special light. Always at the limit of the abstract, the viewer nevertheless finds himself immersed in a landscape or a composition which appears more and more perceptible and magical.
