"Large Shepherdess In Carved Mahogany, Napoleon III Period, 19th Century"
Large and comfortable carved mahogany shepherdess, Napoleon III period. This shepherdess is harmoniously sculpted with a floral decoration on the top of the backrest recalled at the level of the front crossbar. The front legs are carved in scrolls. The rear feet are arched. This seat is very comfortable, the upholstery and the covering are both a little old but remain in excellent condition and do not require repair. The mahogany woodwork is solid and in very good condition, some old traces of xylophagous can be noted at the rear of the crosspiece. The covering fabric is garnet-colored velvet and in good house condition, it shows some minor minor wear (see photo 11)
