"Louis XVI Fireplace In Saint Rémy Marble"
Elégant Louis XVI fireplace, made out of Saint Rémy and Carrara marble. The simply moulded shelf rests above a panelled frieze, depicting a floral-Acanthus paterae in the center, flanked by Sunflowers on both endblocks, above panelled jambs. This fireplace is nicely aged by time and use. Construction-period of the 'Maison Maitre' where it once stood: ca.1780-1785. Namur-Belgium. Will be delivered with original marble frontfloor-tiles.
