Rare Langrois Wine Taster in solid silver from the Louis XV period, ribbed model highlighted with dots, with snake handle. Border engraved “J. GUIOTAT”. Sub-Farmer's Countermark Hallmark for LANGRES c.1750-75 (Eagle with outstretched wings), Common House Hallmark for LANGRES c.1762-64 (Crowned B) and Hallmarks (body and handle) of the Master Goldsmith Pierre GUERINOT received for practicing in Langres in 1734. This rare Langres wine taster from the Louis XV period is in very good condition and remarkably hallmarked, micro-scratches from use.
