"Altar Angel In Carved And Painted Wood, Munich (germany), 18th Century"
Very beautiful winged altar angel in carved and painted wood. The arms in a gesture of adoration, "his kissed cheeks and his full belly" a detail very well known among the artists-sculptors of South Germany, probably Munich, of the Rokoko Period (1760-1770). Restored condition (re-gilded and some touch-ups).
