"Shell / Nautilus In Silver Metal, English Spoon Warmer, 1900 Period, Tableware"
Old nautilus in silver metal dating from the Belle Epoque. Very beautiful English box, in the style of cabinets of curiosities. Originally it was an English spoon warmer but it can easily be diverted. An unknown object on our French tables, this silver metal container was filled with hot water in order to place the spoons intended for serving poultry and game stuffings. So at the perfect temperature, the spoons did not spoil the food. 15cm in height and 16cm in length. Very beautiful scrollwork decoration. In perfect condition.
