"Interesting Oil On Copper, Representing St Francis, With The Stigmata, XVIIth Century."

Interesting portrait of St Francis with stigmata, halo, holding the Book, on a gilded background, probably with leaf. Face of the saint very present, with a look imbued with kindness. He wears the coat, and shows his right hand carrying the stigma, with his left hand. Great serenity of the portrait. Plate glued on a green velvet background, 20th century Berain style frame. Very good condition of the painting, probably late 16th or very early 17th.
