Pretty chest of drawers from the Louis XVI Directoire period in speckled mahogany veneer. With fluted uprights, it opens with 3 large drawers, rests on spindle legs. It is topped with molded Turquin blue marble. Beautiful decoration of finely chiseled bronzes. Late 18th century, circa 1790-1800. Our chest of drawers is a Parisian production with beautiful mahogany, and luxury Turquin blue marble which differentiates it from common productions. Another notable quality is that it is 130cm shorter than a standard chest of drawers, which makes it easier to place in a city interior.
